Merlin's Timely Message for Today!
When the world looks like it’s falling apart, it may actually be rearranging itself into something better
Merlin Says You’re Closer Than You Think
Did you feel that thunderclap this morning as Merlin arrived? Maybe it was just me. He didn’t show up Hollywood style—with swirling robes and magical staff—but in the way etheric beings arrive carrying a recognizable feeling.
For anyone who only knows him from the movies, he is the half human, half faery wizard and trickster who orchestrated the birth of King Arthur. He spent his whole strange life moving between the human world and the faery realms, nudging both toward cooperation and the New Earth that is still forming.
His message today was simple and profound: “Hang in there. You have almost made it to the New Camelot reality, even though it may not appear that way when you listen to your news media.”
If you have glanced at the headlines lately, his message might sound wildly optimistic. We hear about wars. Division. Economic uncertainty. Social media serving up a 24-hour buffet of human dysfunction. Some days it feels like the whole world is circling the drain.
Yet Merlin has never been impressed by appearances.
As the legendary wizard of Camelot, he understood something most people forget: there is always a difference between what is happening on the surface and what is unfolding beneath it.
The Roots You Cannot See
When a seed falls to the ground, weeks can pass with no visible activity. Meanwhile, beneath the soil, roots are forming, nutrients are being gathered, and an invisible architecture is forming.
Civilizations are no different. They just take a little longer to take shape.
Merlin showed me his vision of Camelot—not the historical place, if such a place ever existed in the physical world, but the archetype—a frequency or template our society can organize itself around.
Where wisdom guides power instead of the other way around.
Where people see themselves as caretakers rather than conquerors.
Where humans live in partnership with the land rather than in domination of it—and cooperation with each other is the natural order.
That frequency rose once, briefly, in a muddy corner of ancient Britain, and fell—the way bright things often do before the world is ready to hold them. But the frequency does not die. It waits, and activates again, in a new place, with new people, under a new name, gaining strength with each iteration.
You are living through one of its activations right now.
This is also why things can feel so contradictory. The nightly news reports the crashing branches. It almost never mentions the growing roots: the neighbors helping neighbors, the restored creek, the community learning to share resources and cooperate with the natural world.
None of that makes for breaking news, which does not mean it is not the most important thing happening on the planet today. It only means it is happening underground, where the news cameras are not pointing.
Discouragement, Merlin says, usually comes from confusing visibility with significance. Just because you cannot see the forest yet does not mean the seeds have failed to sprout. It may simply mean they are still organizing along the template of their perfection.
That is the part of this message meant for everyone. Do not mistake turbulence for failure. Sometimes turbulence is exactly what transformation looks like when you’re in the middle of it.
